A very nice example of a WWII German Kriegsmarine dagger measuring 16 5/8" overall with a etched blade marked " (logo) ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN". cludes nautical and decorative motifs. Gilded brass crossguard with central anchor in rectangle. Gilded brass pommel depicting an eagle with Party symbol. Off white wire wrapped grip. Gilded brass scabbard with lightning bolt motif. CONDITION: blade retains some original factory polish and the etching is clear and crisp. Hilt shows light wear with most of the gilded finish remaining. Grip is undamaged. Scabbard retains most of its original gilded finish. (02-24959/BF). NON-GUN. $600-900.
